What's up with Yahoo & outbound mail delay?

I know they don't want to accept Microsoft's offer, but Yahoo has had MAJOR email issues for over a week! That's NOT ACCEPTABLE!

Many of us use Yahoo with Outlook & since AT LEAST February 8, our outbound emails have been delayed horrendously- at least 4 hours or more. Although Yahoo hasn't published anything I've found yet admitting this problem, this issue has caused many people to think there's something wrong with their computer.... Sigh!

C'mon, Yahoo- 'fess up to the problem like a big boy/girl! Oh, maybe you think Microsoft will LOWER their bid & that wouldn't make Yahoo stockholders too happy....

Pathetic! Even today, emails I sent over 4 hours ago have NOT been sent out by Yahoo's SMTP server. Allowing a problem like this to exist over a week? PRICELESS! And not publishing any type of public notification, so users are aware? UNFORGIVEABLE!

So is it the changes to authentication Yahoo is working on with Ebay/Paypal? Dunno. Don't care.

But create a system announcement board & TELL your users instead of hoping no one notices! Oh, yeah- if you call Yahoo, the voicemail system does have a recorded message if you're calling about the outbound mail delays- "they're working on it"!
